Hello! 

     My name is Miss Fisher and I am going to be your student's 3rd grade virtual teacher! This is my fourth year teaching. I am excited to learn more about teaching virtually as I work with your student!

A Little About Me

   I was born and raised on a farm in Iowa. I come from a very large family with

7 siblings, 4 in-laws, and 13 nieces and nephews. I enjoy spending time with

family and frequently drive back to Iowa to visit my family and friends still

there. I moved to Columbia in January of 2017 and have loved my time here.

Finding new coffee shops to study and lesson plan at has helped me continue to 

learn more about Columbia and Missouri!

 Teaching

        I graduated from Iowa State University with a Degree in Elementary Education in December  2016. I began teaching in Columbia Public Schools at Benton Elementary as a first grade teacher. after 2 years in first grade, I decided to move up to 3rd. This will be my 2nd year in 3rd grade, but will look much different than every other year. I am excited to work with your students and figure out what virtually learning will look like for our class family!
